Who doesn't love Ginger? A spice for all seasons, not just at Christmas. When Starbucks takes Ginger Spice Latte off the menu, I think we all feel sad. Double that when the Gingerbread disappears (this writer at least is bereft). What are we supposed to do the other three seasons (other than bake our own)? The answer is pretty simple, we have to go out and ADOPT. Here's the perfect substitute, one who even looks like snow, with a little sprinkle of Ginger ... yes, that's our Ginger girl. Ginger is a pretty and petite purebred Cocker Spaniel just 5 years old who was recently surrendered to Animal Care and Control of NYC. She's a lovely dog with a great disposition who loves kids and other pets. She will make an excellent family dog. Ginger is a healthy girl who has been spayed, microchipped, is current on all shots and has tested negative for heartworm. She has been clipped short due to matting, but should have quite a nice coat as Spring moves into Summer. If you would like to adopt or foster Ginger, please email rescue@nyabandonedangels.com or visit http://www.nyabandonedangels.com/ , where you can complete and return an on-line application. Ginger is ready to bring sugar and spice and everything nice straight into your heart. With her, every day is Christmas.
