Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Buddy is a 4-year-old neutered male black lab. Buddy weighs 72 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Setting: Rural, Suburban
Dwelling: Single Family
Fence: Physical fence required
Feb 13, 2018: Buddy is a super sweet boy who loves taking walks and fetching the ball. He has been a joy to foster. He is house broken and appears to have been crate trained. We have been going on long walks and working on his leash skills. He is a strong boy and when excited for example by one of those annoying squirrels will pull on his leash so an easywalk harness would be a good idea. Buddy's leash skills have improved in the short time we've had him, but he could definitely benefit from working on them. We haven't had a single counter surfing violation yet and we have been leaving him uncrated during the day. There have been no issues meeting other dogs and unless the dog is excited he seems to have very little interest in them. One thing he does seem to have an interest in is small furry animals especially squirrels, so he might do better in a home without a very small dog or cat.
Jan 18, 2018: Buddy has had a chance to run around in a fenced yard and burn his energy. We have learned that he knows how to sit and give paw. He has a nice disposition and wags his tail because he's so happy to see you. He is housetrained and waits to be let out of the kennel to do his business outside. Buddy is strong on the leash. He seems a little interested with the cats at the vet's office, so maybe no cats is a good choice.
Jan 10, 2018: Buddy is a big, strong, and gorgeous boy. He will need to go to obedience training to learn basic commands. Until he learns
