My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepper is the sweetest, one-year, 12-pound poodle you'll ever meet!  She was given up by her owners because their home burned down and they had five dogs and had to decide to give up a few to lighten their burden.  (We also have apricot poodle Lily in our care.)  Right now Pepper has a pretty horrible hair cut which you'll have to see past as see the beautiful dog she will be.  Whoever gave her the hair cut before we got her also cut her while doing it.  The wound is healing.  

Pepper just wants to be your shadow and follow you everywhere.  She loves to sleep on laps and craves lots of love.  She is also good with both dogs and cats.  She's good with kids too.

UPDATE: 4-1-11  We took Pepper to the vet to get spayed and found out she is seven weeks pregnant.  Pepper will have her babies with us and then after her babies are weaned she will be able to go to her new home.
