COURTESY LISTING: Hello there! My name is Hera. I am a 9 month old. microchipped, spayed female kitten looking for a forever home! I had a pretty rough start to life. My foster mom took me in after I wasn’t coming out of anesthesia well at Operation Catnip Stillwater. After finally coming out of anesthesia, it was found that I had a pretty high parasite load and fleas, which is why I was so sick after surgery. I was treated for both of these, but then came down with pneumonia. I then had to be nebulized for two weeks and on antibiotics for 30 days. After all of that, I was really not too sure about people. So my foster mom showed me lots of patience, and I have learned that not all human contact is being medicated, most of it is being cuddled and pet! I am a very friendly and pretty active kitten. My foster home has these things called catios that I absolutely love! Foster mom says that since I was feral as a kitten, and I can get scared really easily, I need to be an 100% indoor kitty in my forever home. I agree with her that being inside is the safest place for me, although, if you had a catio, I would love to hang out in there! I love to watch the birds either through the window or out in the catio. I also really like to get all of the pets I can, scratches are my favorite. There are other cats in my foster home, and I really enjoy having another feline friend around to play with. They keep me busy when there aren’t humans around to get pets from! There are also dogs in my foster home. I don’t mind the dogs as long as they don’t chase me. I always use the litter box, and I am up to date on my vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative, and on flea & tick prevention. I am talkative, very friendly, and I really just want you to pet me!! Cronos is my adopted brother, and I really would love to go to a forever home with him, but it isn’t required. Adoption fee is $35.00.
