Biography | Hi! My name is Rocko. I’m a 6-7 year old, neutered, male Shepherd/possible Australian Kelpie mix and weigh about 60 pounds. I lived with an elderly woman and 20+ dog companions, but she couldn’t take care of us anymore so we had to go the shelter. All my small dog friends were adopted, but no one took me. I was so sad and had to stay in the shelter for a long time. I was about to be euthanized, but then my foster mom rescued me! I haven’t been around people much so I’m a little nervous at first, but I really love snuggling with my foster mom and being with her all the time! I’m not quite sure what to think of kids, so I’d prefer to live in a home with all grown-ups. I get along well with my canine foster sister, but Mom says I probably shouldn’t live with cats because I scare our cat when I try to play with her…she’s just so fun I can’t help chasing her! I know I’ll make a great companion for someone. I’m super good when I’m in the house…even when I’m left alone! I’m house trained and don’t mess with any of my foster family’s stuff. I’m pretty quiet too. I’m calm and love to relax with my family inside the house, but when I go outside to play I can really run…and jump over things too! Mom says I’m “agile”.I’m even learning to walk on a leash! If you’re looking for someone to be your loyal companion, I’m the one! Please consider me. I still have lots of years of love to give and will be so grateful to share them with you. |
