My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Muldoon (Dooney) will be two in March. She is not totally housebroken, has improved a great deal already. She is spotless in her crate and is happy in a crate provided she has some toys and/or chewies to keep her occupied. She is a counter surfer and a problem chewer. She will take anything that is not nailed down and make it her own - even though she has loads and loads of toys, chewies, etc. available to her. She really needs to be watched as she will take things in another room even when someone is home. She needs to be IN the crate when no one is home and will get into stuff if no one is right there. Dooney does not walk well on a leash but is much better with a walking harness. Dooney is extremely playful and very very affectionate. She does sometimes get carried away when playing and will nip - also gets over excited with her toys and might destroy (kill?) them. (grin) She is very alert, does well with other dogs and loves children although she could be a bit much for a young child as she plays with such energy. Dooney can be seen in foster care in Hudson Falls, NY. Her foster caregiver reports that Dooney definitely likes to be with everyone (including other dogs) - she is extremely affectionate and playful. They feel bad for her as it is obvious she was never taught any rules and proper manners. Dooney likes to ride in the car and would probably like to have a "forever home" with another dog to keep her happy. She really loves attention. Dooney needs an experienced sheepie home. Are you an OES experienced home that would enjoy a project with enormous potential? If you have another dog, Dooney LOVES to exercise and would love to play if you have a good sized securely fenced yard. Please contact us at 781-259-8173, after you have filled out the application indicating that you would like to provide Dooney a loving home. Loving back is her best subject. She gets an “A” in affection, and an “incomplete” in manners.
