Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Junior! One of the nicest, calmest pups you'll ever meet. Lovely, mellow guy who gets along with everyone. He weighs about 25 pounds. He looks like a Lab, but he's definitely mixed with a smaller breed. Long body like a Dachshund or Corgi. Soft coat. Cute little short legs. Which ever breed is the best, that must be it! Sweetest guy we've ever met!
Good with other dogs, big and small. In fact, he seems happier when there are other pups around, even though he doesn't technically play with them. He's also a great solo pup. Good with kids. Good with men and women. Happy and calm. Super quiet. Good on a leash and loves to go for walks. Loves the off-leash dog park. Loves to go for rides in the car. House-trained. Junior is just an all-around great guy. Loves to follow his human around.
Junior found his way into the shelter when his previous owner was killed in a car accident. :( He was surrendered with another dog, who was adopted from the shelter. We saw a plea on Facebook and went right away to rescue him. Happy little guy, and we can't wait to find him a new forever home.
Junior is about 7 years old. His teeth were terrible when we got him, but he's had a dental and everything is sparkling clean now! His blood work revealed minor kidney issues, which have mostly been resolved. He doesn't need medication, but is on special food. We'll get his blood work checked again next week and see where we are. Otherwise, he's very healthy. Give us a shout if you have any questions. Thanks!!
