Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Teddy is a two year old mix who's looking for his forever home. He's a friendly, playful guy who would love another canine of similar size to play with but with the right family could be an only dog as well. No cats, small dogs, or other small animals, please! An adopter familiar with Chow traits would be ideal. Although he's a mix he exhibits many strong Chow features that an experienced owner will appreciate. He's protective of his family and is a good watchdog. Due to his protective nature, we will not be placing him in a home with children under 10. His foster family has been working hard at socializing him and everyone who meets him falls in love. He loves attention and will let you know if he thinks you should be providing it. Teddy is a skilled excavator and loves to dig so a sense of humor will be required. Due to his digging and his young dog curiosity, he'll require a 5-6 foot secure fence. He's working on the canine basics and will willingly go to his crate where he will stay until you come home. He's a smart boy willing to please.
We provide adoption services to those within a 100 mile radius of our main office in the suburban Philadelphia region. If you'd like to be considered for adoption please visit our website and fill out an online application. You will also find information on our adoption and foster programs.
Please read the requirements for adopting any particular dog carefully. We take great care in evaluating each dog in a private home setting and are committed to finding a home that will be best for the dog. If you feel your home would meet those needs please submit an application. No dogs are shown prior to an approved application.
