My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Coco and Blackie are wonderful shih Tzu’s who have recently lost their home due to their owner passing away. They are 9 and 10 years and have been together their whole lives. So we would prefer they get adopted together. They are currently on a diet. Their previous owner loved them too much giving them lots and lots of treats. Coco loves to play with squeaky toys and retrieving them. Blackie does not yet but once the weight comes off that may change. They are crate trained and like going for walks. Both have had all their shots, dentals and blood work done. They are also spayed. Blackie does have dry eye which just requires drops twice a day. They are great with children and other dogs also they are very quiet. Do you have a home for these wonderful two girls?

An approved adoption application is required. The $200 adoption fee (for both together) (payable by cash only) includes spay/neuter; microchip; dental teeth cleaning (if needed prior to adoption); vaccinations; and heartworm testing. Dogs for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application. Proof of completion of an obedience class is required for all dogs following adoption. Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption.
