Barry, cocker spaniel 15 lbs, male.

My name is Barry & I am a male cocker spaniel puppy who weighs 15 lbs & unfortunately the beginning of my story was a very rough one, I was in a death shelter in Korea until a wonderful Korean rescue got me out to save my little 9 month old life but now my future is oh so bright as now I will also be very well traveled & will be a USA citizen & looking for my loving forever home who will cherish me.

My foster family in Korea taught me to take take treats nicely, I know stay, sit & wait until it is time to take my treat. I love people & other dogs, I am super smart & have been using potty pads, I really enjoy toys that intrigue me, I play fetch & have the time of my life with it & also find hidden treats my foster mum has hidden for me to play games with. Of course I am still a puppy who is very curious about everything & of course I still need work on my potty training & a new family who will continue to work with me on training in all areas of my little life. I need a home where it is mandatory for another dog to be in the home with me to play with & my family needs to be at home.
I also do well with children who are respectful & Am also good around cats.

I will be getting neutered by laser, chipped, up to date on all my shots, heart worm negative, had a titer test done which means I have no tick borne diseases, I was dewormed twice & treated for cocidia & giardia.

To be considered to be my new family you must meet all the requirements listed above & an application must be submitted at aberdeenstr.com for me & my rescue cannot respond to every application as they are working extremely hard to find myself & all my other dog friends that rescued their loving forever homes too.

I have an adoption fee of $680, could you be my new forever family?

Like most dogs in our rescue, Barry will need work on potty training.

Barry will be available for adoption on 3/2/18.

**IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ**

An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well.

As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves.

When submitting an application, Please be 100% certain that you are committed to completing the adoption process.
This includes having all household members in agreement of the dog adoption and being prepared to complete the adoption once approved.
We are committed to placing each dog in the very best home possible. As an all volunteer rescue we spend several hours vetting and approving each applicant and every minute spent working on applicants that are not prepared to complete the adoption takes us away from saving another dogs life. This truly is a life and death matter for these precious souls. Thank you for your understanding.

WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
