My story

7 year old, spayed female, homeless since October :-(
Visit the animals in person at 4525 W. Wendover Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27409. The shelter is OPEN every afternoon except Tuesdays. You can arrange a safe interaction to introduce your current dog to a shelter dog before adopting. We recommend meeting the dogs in the shelter first by yourself, then having an assisted interaction as a second step before adoption. The shelter has pens near the parking lot, so your dog never goes inside the shelter. Ask staff about setting up an interaction, after you have fallen in love and want to come back with your pet. Be sure to ask volunteers all about the animals!
