My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lumos! A sweet, laid back boy with a very charming underbite who is looking for his forever home. Lumos is a maltese mix and is approximately 2 years old. Lumos has been in foster since November. When he was turned in to the shelter, Lumos was so matted that he was barely able to move and after shelter workers and volunteers cut the mats off, they found that he was also horribly emaciated, weighing only seven pounds. Lumos now weighs 14 pounds and is a happy, healthy, fun-loving guy! He is excellent with other dogs and cats, is crate trained, and leash trained. He is still working on being fully house trained but he is doing very well! His hair grows very quickly so he will need regular brushing and grooming. Lumos’ favorite activities include going for walks, going for short car rides, chewing on his puppy nylabones (they’re soft on his teeth), and most of all, snuggling and giving kisses to his human friends!
