Meet Layla!

This sweet little girl was found wandering around the freezing city streets, when a kind soul brought her to the shelter. Layla was emaciated, suffering from hypothermia, severely matted, and so weak she was unable to stand up on her own. She needed immediate medical care, so we took her to our vet right away. Layla was given fluids, antibiotics, and a complete check up. Her foster mom took her home with instruction to keep Layla warm, and give her small amounts of food and water every few hours. After 2 months of TLC, Layla doubled her weight to a healthy 8 lbs, and was spayed, vaccinated, and groomed. She is now feeling great and ready for her forever home! Layla is affectionate, playful, gets along well with other dogs, and loves to spend time with her foster family. Layla is 6 yrs old, 8 lbs, and her adoption fee is $450.
