Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Miss Carolina is a sweetie if ever there was one. Though we cannot say for certain what her mix is we keep coming back to Aussie/Chihuahua. Her fur is so soft, with feathering and the right colors. But her personality says it all.
This little girl was a stray for a while and really appreciates being a part of a home and family again. She loves anyone that will give her the time of day, and is smart enough to know when to sit back and figure out if someone or something means her harm before she lets her guard down.
Carolina will probably be between 15 and 20 pounds full grown, and will be on the small side of a medium dog OR the large side of a small dog. She is great with dogs of all ages and sizes and cats too. She even loves kids.
If you would like to meet and potentially adopt Carolina please read on or go directly to the Adoption Process page of our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org. All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live.
Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
