Sophie, Sophie, Sophie....we simply can't understand why this AMAZING girl hasn't had any interest in the year and a half since her rescue from the shelter!

Dog friendly? Check!

Lover of all people, especially children? TRIPLE CHECK!

Sophie is a sweetheart of a dog who loves to go on long walks, fancies swims at the lake and likes to follow those activities up with comfortable snoozes on the couch or, preferably, in her favorite human's lap. She ADORES children and, People...that's not an exaggeration! If dogs could legally be considered babysitters, Sophie would be up for the task more so than any other dog we've ever met and would excel at the job. She's gentle, attentive and simply stunning with those golden, honeyed eyes of hers that draw you in so sweetly.

So she doesn't particularly like to be crated....big deal! This girl just doesn't like to be confined is all because she prefers to be able to cuddle somewhere comfy when she darn well feels like it. She just wants to be with people. Period.

She's pretty compact at a fully grown 45 pounds and would do well in any indoor setting that lavished her with the love she so deserves.
