My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucky is our 2 year old Dachshund mix. He weighs 13 lbs.

Lucky is SUPER SWEET! Lucky will be SO HAPPY to have HIS family. This little fellow will make your heart melt when you meet him. He will lay next to you for hours snuggled in a chair but he also LOVES to go for walks. He is very good on the leash and enjoys the fresh air.
He is not shy and will wag his tail to everyone he meets.

Lucky’s adoption donation is $525 which helps to cover the neutering, shots, heart worm test, bordetella (kennel cough), rabies, flea/tick prevention, heart worm prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.

Lucky is living with a foster family in Tennessee and will travel by professional pet transport once he has been adopted. We use a weekly transport service to the northeast with pick up locations in VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, NY, VT, ME.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
