Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This little pup is approx 9 months old and 8 lbs as of February 2018. He looks like a maltese/poodle maybe yorkie mix. He loves to run and play and loves toys, he has a very sweet disposition and gets along with everyone.
He was very neglected when we rescued him. We treated him for mange and dermatitis. He has since been groomed and is taking medications for his skin and looking so much better. He still has some bare patches of hair but it is slowly growing back.
During his medical exam, the vet noticed he had some muscle atrophy in his back legs and a mild spinal malformation. We had the radiologist and a neurologist check him out and both agreed that there was really no issues to deal with right now and we have the neurologists report available for review.
Being a small dog, they felt it is likely he may never experience any issues in the long run.
We do require a home with no children under the age of 10 years.
The total adoption donation of $525 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in TX in foster care. Our adoption application is online at http://houstonshaggydogrescue.org/application-process/
