Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This precious little girl is approx 2 yrs old and 16 lbs, she was owner surrendered to the shelter with three little pups. This is from her foster mom - Trina is an sweet and gentle girl. She loves playing with her foster sister and has grown to love squeaky toys. She has come out of her shell more and craves attention but still has her shy moments and needs reassuring sometimes. She is housetrained and potty trained, no accidents so far. Very good and polite on a harness/leash and loves walks, gets excited when she hears the leash. She doesn't pull or get distracted on walks. When she isn't following her foster sister around she likes to lounge in her doggy bed with toys. She is an easy going dog and loves her pack. Rolls over for belly rubs and sits for treats. We require a home with no children under the age of 10. She did test positive for heart worms and has been treated with the recommended series of injections, we usually find that the dogs test negative after 4-6 months and we require that the dogs be kept on heart guard monthly as a heart worm preventative.
The total adoption donation of $525 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in TX in foster care. Our adoption application is online at http://houstonshaggydogrescue.org/application-process/
