Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Deke, Enoch, and Flint are 3 Syrian hamsters who were rescued from an unfortunate situation. They were being housed in overcrowded and squalid conditions, living together despite being Syrian hamsters - a solitary breed. Syrian hamsters need to be housed individually after 6-8 wks of age or they will fight, seriously injuring or even killing each other. Fortunately, the boys made it out with only a few cuts and bruises, and now they have more space and privacy in their foster home.
Looking at these brothers is like looking at triplets, as they are almost nearly identical! They are also equally similar in their mellow personality and love for food. Despite being unsocialized prior to arriving to us, they are very calm and are growing more and more used to being petted and do not mind being gently picked up and held. They also enjoy playing in their hamster playground, and plopping down to take a nap when they are tired. They are approximately 9 months of age. If interested, email adopt@emptycagescollective.org
