My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rembrandt has been with me since she was a kitten - I'm pretty sure she has never forgiven me for the name Rembrandt, but she was acquired for her color pattern and fulfilled a wish I had had since very young. She is a loving but very shy cat and has lived for years with her much more vocal and social sister...who unfortunately doesn't really care for her. Rembrandt is definitely an omega cat, preferring to hide in a dark corner and coming out only when things are quiet and her chosen person is available to pet her. While her posture is generally "Please, don't eat me!" she is not likely to strike out, being all cower rather than spitfire. Really, she'd be great as an only cat in a single-pet household. I wouldn't be rehoming her but my fiance is allergic and we're hoping that re-homing Rembrandt will make things manageable.
