My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Phoenix is a handsome 3 ½ year old fawn male that is learning the joys of retirement. He is a very sweet and mellow hound that has a whole lot of love to give. He has made leaps and bounds since he first arrived and is waiting patiently for his loving and furever home. Here is what his foster mom has to say about him.
Phoenix is a big lovable guy that will kiss you and cuddle with you but is also happy to just hang out and chill with the “dogs”. He’s a smarty!!!!! He is learning stairs, crate training and eating manners very quickly. He responds excellent to “no” and is very eager to please, particularly when food is involved. He sleeps greyt in the bedroom on his dog bed and is usually eager for breakfast once the humans start stirring around. He walks pawsome on his leash and is very interested in the world!!! He appears to be cat safe and would do greyt in a home with other animals, as he really seems to enjoy the company of the other dogs that he’s been around. He loves treats and chewy things and has been learning how to play with toys. His favorite thing is a “BIG COMFY BED”!!! This guy is an awesome dog.
