Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zoey must be able to go to another home by Feb 23rd, or she will have to go to a shelter. We cannot keep her past that.
Zoey is a 2 yr old spayed Shih Tzu/Chihuahua mix (more Shih Tzu, but taller than typical one, very similar fur, definitely has Napoleon complex of a small dog). She's about 15 lbs. She is housebroken, and is good with young kids (ours are elementary school age). She is very friendly and likes a lot of attention. She likes everyone, but tends to prefer women over men. She needs grain free food to help with her skin, and frequent baths (usually about every 2 weeks). She does not shed, but does need regularly brushing and grooming. She does good with grooming and bathing, just very fidgety, but doesn't like getting her nails clipped. She does get along pretty good with our lab mix. We don't have cats, so I don't know how she would do with them. She enjoys going for walks and will walk beside you, though she does get rather animated whenever another dog walks by. She loves being near people, and is perfectly content to sit in someone's lap for a long time.
We are having to re-home her and another dog because of family conflicts over having indoor dogs. Wire crate, bowls and raised feeder, dog coat, leash and collar are included. Meetings can be scheduled during the week if you are close by, but will have to be on the weekend if not in the Gwinnett County area. She needs to be re-homed no later than Feb. 23rd. Unfortunately, she will have to go to a shelter at that point, because we will no longer be able to keep her.
