Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DONATION $ 25
My Story: I'm Thumbelina, 11, a polydactyal (Hemingway cat!) with a tiny meow and very loud purr. Just pet me and find out for yourself. I do enjoy snuggling with my owner's boys if they're not too busy roaring around the house. But I do get nervous around them when they're wild so I need to find another home - please. A quiet one.
My dad says I'm a "warm loving attention getter that would be solid for a person with a dog that wants a cat." That's why I'd make such a great ESA.

Emotional Support Animals (ESA)
Emotional Support Animals are not required to undergo specialized training. They can be dogs, cats, exotics, birds. Their primary role is to provide their owners with emotional comfort. Emotional support animals can benefit a disabled individual psychologically. The basic gift of companionship and unconditional affection can be the therapy needed to counter a condition like debilitating depression or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
ESAs are protected under the Fair Housing Amendments Act (FHAA) and the Air Carrier Access Act (ACAA). People meeting the proper criteria are entitled to an ESA to assist them with life. The FHAA protects individuals by allowing ESAs to live with them regardless of breed (even with no pet policies). The ACAA protects individuals by allowing ESAs to fly with them in the cabin of an airplane without having to pay additional fees. ESAs are not required to be professionally trained. An owner can train the pet. A letter of need written by a mental health counselor may be required for those wanting to transport via plane or for landlords.
