Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This little boy is approx 15 months and 8 lbs, he looks like a Morkie. He was owner surrendered to our rescue, the people bought him at 3 months old and then basically did nothing with him they said he was territorial with food etc. When we rescued him, he was not neutered and not up to date on shots, but all of that has been taken care of and he has been micro chipped.
This is from his foster mom..
He is a really sweet and loving little dog. He likes nothing better than to sit or sleep in your lap and give lots of kisses. He gets along with all my dogs and has shown no sign of being territorial with food or even toys and treats. Would do best with an older couple or single who would be around most of the time and give him the attention he craves. He loves to bark at my horse and Great Pyrenees - showing he's the boss - typical Napoleonic complex. Would love to chase the cats if they would only run for him. He is mostly housebroken but every once in awhile has to mark, but since he was just neutered feel this will pass. Will make a very loving pet for someone.
We require a home with no children under the age of 12 years
The total adoption donation of $525 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in TX in foster care. Our adoption application is online at http://houstonshaggydogrescue.org/application-process/
