My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sophie is a very sweet, 1 year old girl, currently weighing around 35lbs, but needing to put on several more.
She's a gentle girl, who gets along with other dogs (we always recommend patient, controlled introductions, regardless of breed).

She's learning to walk nicely on a leash and other good manners. She shows a typical prey drive for critters like squirrels, so may not be an ideal companion for a household with cats.
(When Sophie came into rescue, she had an upper respiratory illness, common for dogs in shelters to pick up - she is now completely fit and well, but in case you're wondering why one of the pictures shows her at the vet with an IV tube in her leg...! Still, even at the vets she had a smile on her face!)
