Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Cookie and I am two years old, full of energy, and cute in spite of my shaved coat, which will grow back lush and beautiful! I used to have a really nice home, however one day I got out of my yard and was hit by a car. :-( Boy did that HURT! The people that found me took me to the shelter. Three days later my owners came and got me. WHEW! They took me to the Vet and had my injuries assessed and found out that I had a broken pelvis and a displaced hip. The amount it would cost was over what my owners could afford, so they took me back to the shelter. That made me really sad! :-( Sheltie Rescue came and got me the very next day! I had the surgeries done and now I'm resting comfortably in my foster home. It is really nice here. My foster Mom tells me it will be approximately 8 weeks before I am completely healed and can go to a forever home. That's OK with me because right now I just need rest!
