Duchess is fostered in Lancaster Texas by United Yorkie Rescue http://www.unitedyorkierescue.org/
Duchess is an 8 yr. old 11 lb. Yorkie girl who came to United Yorkie Rescue in January 2018. An owner surrender, her family unable to care for her, they reached out to United Yorkie Rescue to help. Duchess is a very sweet little girl who has quickly adjusted from being an only dog to being in the home with several other furries. Although she shows signs of being territorial with her person, she gets along well with everyone. She may need a little guidance on this but it shouldn't be an issue. She's been an only dog for 8 years so it's no wonder, and we think she would love to continue being the center of someone’s world and the only dog. She loves to cuddles, getting belly rubs and sleeps next to her person. We were told that she is very partial to men and she has certainly taken to her foster dad!!
Duchess goes outside to do all her business and is very good on a leash. When she first arrived, she would not accept a treat and was very shy. She came out of her shell quickly but may need some time to adjust in a new home. Duchess is current on her shots and in good health. She is an absolute doll baby and will be a great companion as again, she LOVES her people.
