Hello I'm Hugo!! Im almost 3 years old but still have the playful personality of a puppy! My favorite activities include playing with my foster brother, chewing on bones, and occasionally running around the back yard like a mad man. My foster parents tell me that I give amazing snuggles and that my fur is as soft as velvet! I don't want to brag but they also tell me that I'm the most handsome doggo they've ever met with my big ole ears. They also keep telling my I am goofy because my paws are so big that sometimes I don't know what to do with them. This makes my foster parents giggle lots. I am a very good boy and can be a calm couch potato or an energizer bunny depending on what we're doing. I'm really good at picking up on your energy and returning it right back to you. Want to snuggle? Yes please! Want to play? Yes pleaseee!
I know lots of commands and am pretty good at taking direction. I haven't demonstrated any destructive or naughty behaviors and my foster parents tell me I'm a very good boy. I am looking for a forever family that would be able to spend lots of time with me as I'm really social. I can be a little bit shy at first, but once I get to know you I will be hugging and kissing your face off! Give me a chance and I'll be sure to love you forever and be a super good boy. I would do great in a home with no-kids or teenage kids because I am energetic! I would do well in a house with other dogs -- I LOVE other dogs.
Obedience: I know all of the basic good boy commands. I can Sit, Stay, and Give Paw. I am still working on Down because for some reason that one confuses me, but my foster parents say I am very smart and are even teaching me advanced tricks like Roll over!! I am still a little bit excited on the leash and tend to pull a little bit. My foster parents are working on this with me, but my furever parents will probably need to too as it's taking me a little while to stick to my good walking habits.
