Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rusty, DSH, gold tabby neutered male. DOB 8/1/15 vaccines current
Rusty loves to hug. He's such a loveable boy. When he walks you see the King of the Jungle. His shoulder bones and body build look very much like his cousin the Lion. He's a very striking fellow and a mellow fellow too. Loves to be loved on.
He gets on ok with other cats but wouldn’t mind being an only kitty either. He growls and hisses when he’s in a strange situation or doesn’t know the other kitties around him, but we have yet to see him actually be aggressive. If you put your hand out to pet him he will nudge closer and enjoy the contact.
Rusty is sponsored by Partners for Cats and as such there is no adoption fee. He is living with his caregiver Jean, next door to South Mountains State Park about 20 miles south of Morganton NC. If you are interested in giving this big boy a home, call Jean at 828-437-8769 or go to www.partnersforcats.org and download and fill out the adoption application you will find on the adopt your BFF page.
