ABOUT ME:

Phoebe is a 5.5 year old Cane Corso cutie! Before she came to rescue, Phoebe’s life wasn’t the greatest. She had to live outside and was used as a breeding machine. All that changed, however, the day she joined the Bullpen team, and now she’s ready to give her love to a family of her own!

WHAT I NEED IN A HOME:

Although Miss Phoebe does not care for little dogs, she is living in a home with a male mastiff, and they get along famously. The shelter told us that she wasn’t very interested in cats while she was there, so we think she may be okay in a home with felines after a proper introduction.

We haven’t had the opportunity to observe Phoebe interact with kids, but given how much she loves to be around people, we think she would be fine in a home with children over 10.

Phoebe is affectionate and easy-going, and loves everyone she meets. She also enjoys playing fetch, snoozing, taking long walks, and going on car rides.

THE DETAILS:

Phoebe is housebroken, knows basic obedience and is working on her leash skills. She will go into her crate when asked, which isn’t often, because her foster mom says that she’s an angel when left unsupervised.

Phoebe is vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She has started treatment for heartworms, which she will need to finish with her forever home.

Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a “perfect placement” so we know that they will not be failed again.
