My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Twitchy Twiggy was brought into the animal shelter in January and was admitted into our rescue program at Suwannee PAWS, Inc. She was fostered by Dr. Daniels for behavioral evaluation and is HILARIOUS!!!! However, Twitchy Twiggy would like you to know 1) She is very shy at first. 2) She may not come out completely for a few days 3) Under no circumstances does she like to be picked up high off the ground. 4) BUT she loves to play, roll over, have her belly rubbed, and she likes other cats! She is very timid, she is not going to be a leader, but a follower at first. She loves slinky string like toys such as "snake like" ribbons, she is not overly fond of catnip but does like a rolling wire ball with a fuzzy mouse inside it...... 5) She may need her own "sanctuary room" at first, a smaller place to hide and get used to the new home at first...it took her 3 days to come out after coming in from the shelter 6) She is now totally integrated into her foster home, sleeps on the bed, jumps up on surfaces with more confidence, and EATS like a pig! 7) She will be easily bored and likes lots of activity, she makes avid "biscuits" with her front feet and is really gentle with her paws....she runs after you in the house and really craves human affection. 8). She has not shown a tendency to rush doors or try to get outside but she loves windows and glass doors / screens. 9). She like her cardboard scratcher the best
Veterinary notes: Twitchy Twiggy came in to us in near perfect condition. She was advertised locally for 3 weeks prior to being posted here, after she was dumped out at someone's house. She is eating IAMS adult! Twiggy is about 9 months old, never had kittens and was spayed in January. She has been tested once for FeLV/FIV, she has two FVRCP vaccines and is current on Rabies. She is under treatment for ear mites with Revolution. This is ONE GREAT LITTLE COMPANION!!! Best as an indoor cat at this point in her life, being timid she may not do well outside. Called Twitchy Twiggy because she twitches her tail when you pet her, and she twitches her tail and body all the time. Sweet natured cat! Just needs a place to hide for naps, although she occasionally wants to be up high as well! Best to get her a high sided litter box, she is a litter digger and can move all the litter into a huge pile onto one side of the box😀
