Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing the sweet Miss Cinnamon. She was found by a good Samaritan on the streets of Fairfax, VA in terrible shape. She was abandoned, left outside, tied up for two days with no food or water.
Cinnamon is a gentle and loving dog who would be the ideal loyal companion for someone who wants a dog with them whenever they are home or even wherever they go. She sits quietly next to you when you are on the couch, sleeps at the foot of your bed (or closer if you allow it) and follows you wherever you go. She also appears to be a good watch dog barking only when appropriate. She is smart and learned a house trained in two days. She quickly acclimated herself into our family and made friends with our dogs. She is playful with the cutest spring in her step when she comes running. and non-aggressive.
*Now we are looking for a foster( adopter is better) in the Northern VA and Washington DC suburbs to take care of her while she gets her spay surgery and while we find an adapter. If anyone is willing to open their home and help Cinnamon out please let us know! She is very sweet and a cuddly 63 lbs.
*Cinnamon is UTD on her shots and will need a spay. Our Rescue pay for the cost. Her adoption fee is $350.
*Cinnamon is currently at a temperately foster home in Springfield, VA with 4 other dogs.
If you would like to adopt her, please fill out our online application at https://sites.google.com/view/donghaepaws/. An HDP volunteer will reach out for more information after a careful review of your application. Please understand this may take few days. Thank you!
*** We typically do not adopt to homes with children under 8 years old. A home check is mandatory before adoption. We adopt to residents of Northern VA and Washington DC suburbs only. Applicants must be at least 24 years old. ***
*** About us ***
Hope For Donghae Paws(HDP) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to bringing rescue dogs from Korea to the US and finding permanent homes for them. It is true there are many animal lovers in Korea, but still many dogs suffer and are killed for food.
Our mission is to find US homes for mixed-breed dogs whose chances of being adopted in their native Korea are very low.
