Max is my name and I am 7 years young. I am a Mahogany color Sheltie mix and weigh 32 pounds. I am active and love to go on walks and would be a great running companion. I enjoy a challenge and being on the go. My Foster Mom says I will need a savvy owner or I will get bossy. I have learned how to be respectful and now sit politely for a treat waiting my turn and gently taking the treat from her... I also, let her go through the door first though it is a challenge when I see a squirrel. I still am working on listening to her when I am intent on playing with the neighbor's puppy instead. She says I am a good loving boy still learning manners never taught to me and that I am an awesome watch dog though I calm down quickly when she asks me to.
