My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rome is about 2 years old We think he is a Black Chow? Kelpie? Schipperke? Australian Shepherd? mix. He was found as a stray and no one has claimed this great guy. he seems to love everything and everybody. his coat is so soft and thick. he only weighs 40 lbs. and is probably done growing. he is learning the whole leash thing. he will be a great dog for a family with children who will play with him. He's very playful and affectionate.
He loves chewing on his toys and playing with the other dogs in his foster home. It takes him a little bit to warm up to new dogs, especially if they are not his size. He likes knowing where people are, so he follows his foster mom around the house. He loves getting attention and giving kisses to people. He knows sit and is getting better at down. Stay is the next thing on the list for him. He is very smart and picks up the commands quickly.
