My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Michelangelo, better known as Mickey, was born in September of 2012 and weighs about 60 pounds. He is a happy boy who LOVES to be with people. He is eager to please and hates to be left behind. Mickey is easy to bathe and rides well in the car. He would love to join you wherever you go. Mickey gets along great with other dogs and is energetic and playful. He would enjoy being your walking buddy or just snuggling up while you watch TV. Mickey will make a great addition to your family.

Additionally pets are taken twice monthly to pet store for adoption events. Dates and locations are posted on our website and Facebook page.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
