Would you say your pet is a stable, well mannered, pet ? I would say Soldier has come a long way in the short time we've had him. He was rescued by my husband from a Montreal home with many animals. He was matted and very underweight and abused when he came to us. He cowered in fear and would shake a lot. With love he started to trust us. Soldier is a gentle soul.
-or a bit rough around the edges :needing additional basic training needs? Definitely needs more training...He's just starting to enjoy life
Personality/ reaction- with those it knows? Tail wags and he desires lots of pets and cuddles
Personality/ reaction- with strangers ? Gentle
Has the animal ever shown/ possession/ aggression/ reactivity to anyone or anything? Has the animal ever bitten in the past? No never
-if yes please explain in good detail situation/ trigger/ outcome, what was the pets reaction/ body signals before the incident ? .
Are there any behavioral problems? If yes what are they ? I would say urination off the pad while indoors so we take him on many trail walks during the day and praise him when he goes outside.
Is there any separation issues? I fear he will not do well without Sailor. Sailor protects him. I fear they have seen the worst of humanity with they way they came to us.
Are there any fears? see above
-to what and how does the pet react?
Are there any possession issues with food/ toys/ space towards people/ kids or other pets ? None

Please provide this pets current routine: He is fed first thing in the morning right now with soft food because of dental surgery and then we go on a trail walk. He is free to play and follow me around. We walk the trails many times during the day. He plays ball with his buddy Sailor and he gets lots of petting time im. He can never get enough pets he just loves attention.
The best home for this pet would be: The best home would be an adult home (middle aged people)with no children. He has suffered tremendously in his life at his previous home. He shook and cowered so bad when my husband first brought him home. It took him weeks to stop shaking. He appeared frightened and prepared for someone to hurt him. It broke our hearts to see such a gentle little lamb so fearful of humans. Soldier is so very precious and it is my deepest wish and Prayer that he and Sailor stay together if at all possible. They are bonded and together 24/7. Soldier however would adjust to being in a home without Sailor. Please don't place him with children he deserves all the attention and love he was denied. Please at least place him with a middle aged couple who will devote their efforts into this precious little soul.
Soldier will come with everything he needs
