Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello and good morning everyone I would like to introduce myself....my name is #BunnyBPFF and I have a very sad story to share with you...well I had a family once...I knew what love is once...then one...my family discussed getting rid of me...I couldn’t believe my ears...they decided to surrender me to Animal Care and Control...my heart was broken...I couldn’t imagine what would happen to me...they drove me to ACC and dropped me off......they didn’t even say goodbye to me...they didn‘t seem to care how I was feeling....they just left me there...and went on their way....the nice ladies behind the counter felt so bad for me...they were shocked that I was being surrendered....then...they processed me and gave me a necklace with numbers on it...the good thing was.. I already had been spayed and I also had a microchip... my family must have cared enough about me at one time...they said I was going to see their doctor to have a check up...they took some of my blood and came back and told me that I have those bad worms in my heart...heartworm positive they called it...my heart sank even further...what would happen to me now...is that something that can be cured I wondered.......well they told me not to worry that they were going to send out a rescue request and that someone would be able to help me...and as you know that someone was aunt Liz...she said yes she could and yes she would and the other day...her sister aunt Mary drove to ACC to pick me up...she had a warm welcoming smile on her face and said...I was absolutely beautiful...that made me feel so good...she told me.... she was going to drive me out to the country to her families farm...where I would be taken wonderful care of...and that they would get me the medical attention I need for my nasty heart worms...I was so relieved at that moment...and when she picked me up...I felt safe and secure...we drove out to the country...and when we arrived...I saw so many happy feathered friends flying around...cows playing with a little piglet named Olive...I was greeted by aunt Liz...she had a warm loving smile on her face too...and she and aunt Mary brought me out to Rita’s Cat House where I will be staying with other rescues....a few of my new friends were outside enjoying the beautiful day...and they seemed happy to meet me....tails wagging and big smiles on their faces.....aunt Liz had a cozy bed all set up for me with a soft blanket to lay on...a delicious bowl of crunchies...and I felt very comfy right away...they let me settle in and take a nap...it was a very emotional day for me...and when they came back a little while later...my tail was wagging like crazy...then I got to meet uncle Steve....he smiled at me and I melted...he has that same warm loving look about him...thank goodness this family answered the call from ACC...they love each and every one of us as much as they do their own...I had a good nights rest...and the next morning when I woke up....aunt Liz was right there to let us all out and feed us breakfast...I’ve made a lotta friends in two days...and my heart is full of gratitude...for this chance to get rid of my nasty heartworms...and when I’m better...find a loving forever home...I am only 2 years old...and have a lifetime of love to give....I am a Chihuahua Papillion mix...I am up to date on all my shots including my Rabies Vaccine...if you or anyone you know is interested please don’t hesitate to ask aunt Liz...I would prefer a home without little children...thank you for reading my story...thank you all for caring...and especially for sharing...your new friend...Bunny...woof woof
