My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lobo is approximately 5 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, 50+lbs with a short to medium coat. He will need to be in a household with no small dogs or cats (NO EXCEPTIONS). He has worked on his potty training and has done very well in remembering to go outside. However please make allowances for a new environment. He would do best in a house with another dog, preferably an older female. Lobo has always been with companions so if he were an only dog, he might exhibit some separation anxiety. He is a little timid (shy) of meeting new people but a very friendly boy after he warms up to you. Lobo does well in the crate in the car. He's smart and can open the sliding door to the patio as well as figuring out how to get out of his wire kennel in the house. This loving boy is looking for a home where you work out of the house, are retired or can take him with you, 6' fence minimum with a backyard, kids preferably 8 years old and up, and breed experience is preferred. Most of all someone with patience, time and love is needed. We feel that he was mostly an outside dog so he'll need you to help him with any social skills he may be lacking. All-in-all he's a handsome and loving boy that needs a dedicated person. Lobo appears to prefer women to men, we'd prefer to adopt him to a woman to help make this transition as easy as possible on him. Meet & greet and home check are required. Lobo's adoption fee is $200. Be sure to read our Policy & Release of Liability information online as well. Due to our home check requirement, we only adopt in the Northern California/Northern Nevada areas. Thank you!
