UPDATE: Jan 17, 2009: Gemma is READY FOR A HOME! Gemma is such an amazing girl, and ready for her forever family. She will come with a months worth of meds (or more!) and a big bag of food. Neither meds nor food are very expensive. She's a happy girl who loves everyone. Gets along with other dogs and just loves to run and play! She loves playing in the water too. Gemma came to us from Miami-Dade Animal Services where she was scheduled to be put to sleep. She was emaciated, but is just as sweet as could be. This girl is just amazing, and will really make a family very happy! She minds well, walks great on a leash, is good with dogs, cats and kids. We can't say anything about this girl, she's really special! **She's listed as special needs since she has colitis, it's something she will have for the rest of her life. Her meds are very CHEAP and she takes them easily with her food.** ADOPTION FEE: $200.00, which will go towards paying off the vet bill for her tests. An adoption application, home check and vet reference required before adoption. All dogs will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption. They will also have been treated with Frontline or Advantage and on Heartworm prevention, which the new owner must continue.
