Hello I'm Madelyn!

Lets start off by saying a special girl, I'm deaf. My previous owners thought I was stupid and defiant, so the dumped me at a kill shelter in CA. I'm not dumb or defiant, I just cant hear and have to be taught with ASL not words. My foster say's I'm a sweetheart that loves to be around the family all the time. I'm great on the leash and I like everybody and every dog I meet. Still not sure on cats, I saw some, but I was not too interested in them. I've only been out of the shelter a few weeks. My rescue did not know I was deaf, so now my foster mom and I are attending training for deaf dogs. My only draw back right now, is my mouthiness and I hate crates, I can be left out to free roam, I don't destroy anything. I have a potty accidents if I don't let go out every couple hours, so a dog door and access to the outside would be good. I Like to chew on bully sticks, and play with foster dog sister, but i love to be with my humans. I really never had love before, so I tend to want to be with my human all the time. I can be in a home with another dog as I can learn from them, but I like to get most of the attention, so I am great being the only princess as well. I need my furever parents to know or willing to learn how to communicate and teach me with in other ways besides verbal words. I'm LOCATED in Vancouver WA. I hope to meet you soon! XOXO, Maddie
