My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kitty Junction is OVER-THE-MOON HAPPY to say that this special pair of bonded kitties have found a new loving furever home to call their own!!  Thank you so much Becca and Jessica for seeing their picture and story online and wanting to open up your home and hearts to special needs Hope and her best friend Charlie!  The kittens love their new home and go back and forth between Becca and Jessica's bedrooms making sure they spending quality time with both of them:)  They love to cuddle together on the couch as you can see from their pictures!  Hope and Charlie like to run around the house and play especially when Becca and Jessica pull out the Da Bird which is a really cool feather toy that sounds like a bird flutterimg:) Becca and Jessica love how both Hope and Charlie have such distinct personalities and are SO happy that they are with them!

Hi everyone!  Our names are Charlie and Hope and we are super sweet bonded kittens approximately 6 months of age.  Sadly Hope was found badly injured when she was just 4 weeks of age, most likely hit by a car:(   Her tail was so badly broken and infected that it needed to be amputated right away.  Her left front leg also sustained nerve damage rendering it unusable.  Because of the way the leg dragged and knuckled when she walked, fluid built up and had to be drained every two weeks which put her at greater risk of developing an infection in that leg.  Upon our vet's recommendation on what would be best for Hope long term, Hope's leg was amputated so she could get around easier and pain-free.  She does not consider herself special needs as she can run, play and use her litter box like other normal kittens! Because Hope was so scared and traumatized when she was first found, the rescue thought it would be great for her to have a kitty friend to give her comfort and she was introduced to another little orphan named Charlie.  We believe it was love at first sight!  Charlie and Hope have become inseparable and he was there for every step of the way for her recovery!  For this reason, Charlie and Hope would love to find a home together:)

Hope and Charlie are two very energetic kittens who love to cuddle and get lots of love. They both love toys! Charlie’s favorite toy is a straw (yes, the ones you drink with) and Hope loves toy mice. We are looking for someone who is very loving and can see past Hope’s disability. Even with just three legs she can out run Charlie and loves to run up and down the stairs. Hope and Charlie are bonded. They are best friends who love to wrestle and clean each other. They are both friendly with other cats, but we are not sure about dogs. These two are a perfect pair together. They bring out the best in each other and can occupy each other for hours.  Hope is the biggest sweetheart! She is very calm and loving. She loves to cuddle and fall asleep in a warm lap. She enjoys being around people a lot.  Charlie is a ball of enjoy and reminds everyone of the energizer bunny. Charlie likes to find interesting spots to lay down and rest for a few hours. He loves to climb and rest in high places.
