My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shaggy has quite the sad tale... his owner was killed Nov. 2017 and Shaggy stayed with his body until he was found days later by the Sheriff. Nonetheless Shaggy has a lot of trust and love left to give. He is housetrained, good with children, cats and other dogs. His only flaw is that he can get possessive due to his unexpected and sudden loss, but given boundaries, clear guidance and a designated safe space (his crate) he does well. Shaggy would be best in a calm household because he is the "fun police" as we affectionately say. He currently weighs 20 - 25 lbs and has no medical problems that we are aware of.


**Pets will not be shipped nor transported to adopter. Applications are accepted and reviewed on a first come first serve basis. Meet and Greets are scheduled when an application has been approved. If the meet and greet is successful then the required adoption fee is paid in full ($150), cash only, and the adoption contract is signed. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY**
