My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moose spent his early years living in the back of a car with a homeless vagabond. After the man lost his car and couldn't find housing with his dog(s), he relinquished him. The other dog is named Jamie, also a Boxer. Moose is available for adoption as a pair, or single. He would be happy either way.

Since Moose didn't have room to play as he was growing up I'd like to see him in a healthy, happy non-smoking, drug free, loving home environment with a yard. I think he would do best in an adult environment though with good supervision would also be fine for a family with older children. With his upper body strength he could be overpowering for younger children unless a family was dedicated to advanced obedience training for him.

Moose is five years of age and in very good health. He comes when called (most of the time) and walks well on-leash with an experienced adult.

Potential adopers must reside within area codes 916 or 530, though not all of those areas are within range of our adoptions.
