So I was driving in the car with my human and she was listening to the radio and they were talking about New Years resolutions and it got me thinking maybe it's time for me to to put my best paw forward and find my new life partner. So it goes...
My name is Monte but I'm sometimes called "Beans" as it's said at times I'm full of them but I don't think I've ever been fed beans?! I'm an almost 1 year old Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog! I've come a really long way since being busted out of the shelter.. I'm so proud of everything I've learned!
I enjoy long walks and I usually like to take the lead but I'm open for new directions followed by yummy treats!
Cars are my thing, the boy in this house calls me Monte Carlo. I flirt with everyone around me while sitting at stoplights. I like the boy and would like to live with another kiddo but an older one please because..you know.. 'beans' and all..
Netflix and Chill is a favourite of mine. I enjoy chilling on my bed with a good bone or peanut butter frozen Kong, so the popcorn is all yours! I've been learning that couches are for people, not for dogs but sometimes I forget and need a reminder.
I'm told I can be selfish at times when it comes to sharing a good bone or toy with doggie pals. That's something I'm really working on. New year, new Monte! I do live with two other dogs currently and we get along well. Playing 'catch me if you can!' in the backyard is a BLAST! I wish the cat would play catch with me but she just wants to swat me in the face, I guess I'm kind of a pest to her. I don't want to live with another cat. Hmpf.
