Duke is a sweet 1 year old, 11 pound Schauzer-Terrier mix who is being fostered in Lancaster, TX

Duke is the sweetest little boy, with a sad story. His owners left him at the vet's office with a note saying they weren't coming back to pick him up. Why would anyone abandon such an adorable dog.
Duke is fully vetted, neutered, Heart worm negative and almost house-trained! He is active and playful but minds very well when called or asked to stay. He is a very sweet boy who needs to be an inside pup. He gets along with everyone he has met, but prefers to be around female dogs. We don't know if he will get along with cats.
