My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dulce is a female husky/pointer puppy born 3/18/17. She weighs approx. 45 pounds, and appears to be done growing. She knows basic commands (sit, stay, shake, etc.), fetches wonderfully, is leash and tread-mill trained, and loves to swim. She loves to walk, hike, and ride in a car. Understandably, whoever adopts her will need to commit to exercising her every day! :) She was spayed at 6 months (optimal age), is house-trained, and up to date with shots. She usually sleeps in a crate and enjoys that place as a private refuge.
Dulce is very friendly and at ease with all 8 members of our family, but is wary with strangers. With training and good leadership, she will gain confidence and be a wonderful pet.
She gets along very well with my active large dog but she's a bit scared of "new" dogs so needs guidance and patience in that area as well. As a young pup she had a frightening experience with a pretty aggressive Pitbull/boxer mix and it put some fear into her. We're confident she'll be fine, she just doesn't "love" everyone and every dog immediately.

If you're interested in meeting or adopting we would like to meet at least twice before you take her for a trial, to ease the transition for her :) We hope her new family will continue with training and bring Dulce to her full potential. With thoughtful leadership she will be a great addition to your family.
