My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I adopted Guinness from an animal shelter foster home. He lives inside and is housebroken. He likes walks, but is less interested in going than he used to be. I crate-trained him as a pup, but he hasn’t been in a crate since, and doesn’t like being confined.He isn’t allowed on furniture & sleeps next to my bed. He is low energy during the day. He barks when he hears the doorbell, when someone comes to the door, or when someone new walks in. He doesn’t like to swim but loves playing with the hose. He’s not into toys. He keeps himself clean. I brush him when he sheds, but it's not his favorite thing. He is protective, cautious and shy. He’s skittish with sudden movements. He is not anxious, but a calming collar relaxes him. He has never bitten, scratched or hurt a person. 99% of the time he has gotten along with our other dog & cat, but playtime can turn into fight time. He has bitten my son’s pup and my other dog. He needs to be a SINGLE pet in a home WITHOUT small children. He prefers females.
