My story

Come meet sweetie Shelly at our adoption day on Saturday, January 13, from 1:30 to 4:30 at St. Francis Animal & Bird Hospital in Roseville. Shelly is a sweetheart! Shelly is a young adult, approximately 2.5 years old. She made the recent trip from a crowded shelter in Iowa to her foster home in St. Paul. She has wonderfull shiny soft fur with striking white whiskers and paws. Shelly is good with her feline companion but does not seem particularly interested or attached to him. We aren't sure how she will do with dogs but would probably do o.k. w/well behaved dogs. Shelly was initially anxious with all of the changes but has quickly settled in and is now feeling at ease. She has found the perfect window for looking outside and the bed for snoozing. She LOVES to be around people and comes running when you approach. Shelly will happily cuddle and do push-paws on your leg. If you stop giving her attention, she will put her paw out to remind you that she is there. Shelly would probably do best in a quieter household and would love to be the only cat. Shelly has been felv/fiv tested (negative), vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. Cause for Paws is a small all-volunteer Minnesota nonprofit 501 (c)(3) group whose main focus is on finding homes for stray and abandoned cats and kittens. Cause for Paws fosters these cats in our own private homes; we do not have a central facility.
