My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh m’gosh, it is cold up here in NH. My foster mom keeps saying…"brrrrrr." Is she growling? I sometimes do that a little bit when I am really unsure of something.. I say, “grrrrr.” She says, “burrr” Uprights are really strange. I’m not quite 2 years old. I get along with people very well, but I want to introduce myself slowly with new men that I meet. I love the three upright teen agers (15, 17, 19) in my foster home, and once I got used to the kids, I love to play ball with them. I was possessive of the ball when I first got here but now that I know they are just going to throw it for me, I like to bring it back. I like the noisy toys too. The louder they squeak, the better. I sometimes get overly excited and bouncy when the kids are playing…I want to join in and be active with them. I also like the male OES that lives here but I like to be alpha with him. When he and I wrestle, I sometimes throw him on the ground, and he just quits…(he is a poor loser…) He thinks I am a wild woman…I am, of course. Sometimes I am just mean to him and won’t let him in the room and I certainly won’t share my toys with him. I won’t let him near my food dish either. He is such a wuss. One day my foster mom brought a Bouvier over here. Whoa…I tried to dominate him…bad choice. I decided to be submissive to that bigggg dog. OK, I love treats and I take those gently from the uprights. I love to sneak into the bathroom and graze through the trash…those uprights keep the doors shut ..bummer. I love to ride in the car and I was a good girl when the groomer had to shave all the mats off my skin. I was also good for the vet when I got a tummy-tuck..they called it a spay. I am jealous when the other OES gets attention because I want it. I will lay my head on anyone’s lap and give a kiss. I am not allowed on furniture (stupid rule, in my opinion.) I love to walk with a gentle leader collar and I sit and wait to go out the door while my upright puts on my leash for potty time.. I respond quickly to, “Go potty, Bella.” I already told you my foster mom wants to hurry back in because she says, “brrrrrr.” She isn’t a wuss, though. She IS the boss of me.
