Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Joy! I think I am between 1-2 years old (so they tell me) and am a black lab mix. I was wondering around a neighborhood near the border of Detroit when I was found by some neighborhood kids. I don’t know how to tell the humans where I came from, but they know my past was not a good one since I have a missing tooth and some scars, and they know I have had a litter at some point in my short life. I am a bit selfish though and have to be the only dog that gets to love you. My favorite thing to do is cuddle and hang out on the couch. I am a great sleeper! My foster parents sometimes have to drag me out of bed to go out. I am a silly girl (so my foster parents say) as you can see from the picture below, I curl up in suit cases. I, also never mess in the house or have chewed anything in my foster home. I don’t mind the crate either! If you would love to meet me or are interested in fostering or adopting me please fill out the appropriate application and send it to pawsandthinkdetroit@gmail.com. Hope to hear from you soon! Lick!
